Encouraging Results from Thiobencarb Monitoring

Encouraging Results from Thiobencarb Monitoring

Good news! The thiobencarb monitoring results have been excellent and mostly non-detect through May 11. Monitoring is a weekly event with more recent results pending. The reporting shows two detections (<1.0 ppb) at the upper Colusa Basin site (CBD5), which are not a concern. We will continue to relay positive information on this important area, as well as any exceedances.

Monitoring results at the CBD5 site recovered to 0.79 ppb and 0.73 ppb on May 25 and 27. Sight detections were discovered at the lower Colusa Basin site (CBD1) and Butte Sough. We are halfway through the monitoring season and will continue share monitoring results throughout the season.
