Sacramento Bee Editorial Board Supports Sites Reservoir

Sacramento Bee Editorial Board Supports Sites Reservoir

Few things in life happen by accident. Sunday’s support of Sites Reservoir by the Sacramento Bee was no exception.

Broadening support for Sites has been a major objective in our collaborative work with NCWA. Many months of work, outreach to the Editorial Board and several tours of the reservoir location and Sacramento Valley culminated in this hugely important editorial.

Thanks to NCWA, our many conservation partners and water districts for their help in educating the public on the importance of Sites for the environment, urban users and agriculture in the state. Together we have raised the awareness of the critical role this new reservoir will have in the future of California and the North State.
